MSSCT offers AMSA Coxswain Grade 3 training and assessment, based in Ipswich, servicing South East Queensland.

Pre-Requisites
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be able to speak and understand English, including written documents
- The holder of a Recreational Marine Driver Licence for the state or territory (either previously held or able to be obtained through MSSCT)
- Completion of at least 1 day qualifying sea service on a commercial vessel (either previously held or able to be obtained through MSSCT)
- The holder of a current first aid certificate equivalent to at least HLTAID 011,012 & 013 Provide CPR, basic emergency life support and first aid
- Hold a current Certificate of Medical Fitness Domestic Seafarers that shows the person meets the Standards for the medical examination of domestic seafarers.
Flexible delivery methods:
- At your workplace by arrangement or at Ipswich, Redcliffe or Logan
- Using your Domestic Commercial Vessel or ours supplied
- 5-6 hour face to face training and assessment with the prior completion of OLS Coxswain Grade 3 online training (approx. 3-4 hours)
